Frequently asked questions
If my opponent makes me discard (Axe, Flail, Bardiche), do I draw a new card straight away?
No. You discard from your hand and play your turn with one card less. You draw your 5 new cards at the end of your turn, as always.
Does "discard a card" also work on the defences in front of me?
No, only on the cards in your hand.
Can I choose not to use a weapon's secondary effect?
No: when you play a card, all its effects apply. First the (die roll ± bonus), then the other effects. An effect that can't be applied at that moment is ignored: "draw a card" with no cards left, "remove a card" with an empty hand, a Market effect with a monster in front of you. If you don't want the effect, don't play the card. Tip: play the Thunder Hammer last, so you have no card left in hand to remove.
