Rules and exceptions

Apply the effect or ability indicated by the card. When a roll of a die is required, roll and apply the effect indicated by the card.
When instructed to draw cards (or the number of cards corresponding to your party size, always rounding up), add them to your inventory (mini cards) and/or to your discard pile (Standard cards) without paying their cost.
When the effects have been applied, the First Player discards the card and draws the next one from the Adventure deck.
