Getting Started
At the beginning of each game, players will have the choice of deciding on a Hero or selecting one at random. After each player has made their selection, place the Life Points counter (red cube) at the maximum value found at the bottom of the Hero Character Board, and place the Hero’s XP Token at 0 on the XP track, found on the outside of the Hero Character Board. To determine the starting player, each player rolls two dice and adds them together, with the highest roller becoming the start player (reroll to break ties). The start player will begin the game, with play continuing clockwise.
To finish setup, the start player draws cards from their own deck. Look in the section below to determine the initial card draw :
